IJNa – Original World War II Japanese Navy pilot’s flight suit and gloves. The float-vest is a postwar reproduction. This is the type of flying gear the author collects.
IJNb – Some examples of original WW II Japanese Navy pilot and mechanic’ insignia. Note the green piping on the shoulder board and collar tab which denote mechanic. Also, note the green and blue cherry blossoms on the insignia. The author collects all insignia such as the ones pictured.
USa – An original US Army Vietnam era APH-5 Gentex helicopter pilot’s flight helmet. The author collects these type of flying helmets and the later SPH-4 flight helmets. Also, any related flying gear and flight suits from the Vietnam era (helicopter pilot/aircrew/mechanic).
USb – Some examples of original US Army Vietnam helicopter unit insignia (both cloth and “Beer Can” DIs). The author collects any type of insignia like this.
